Previously, he was Moana from the movie of the same name. Moana was the daughter of Motunui's chief, and when a blight reached the island, she set off with the Heart of Te Fiti to try to find Maui. Maui was the one who originally stole the Heart, and Moana believed he could help her return it, and stop the blight. Things didn't go at all smoothly, of course, but in the end she accomplished her goal. Her adventures helped rekindle the adventurous spirit of her people, and she became their wayfinder, leading her people from island to island.

Now he's Dylan Pierce, 23. Dylan grew up in New Orleans with his parents and his very sweet, and more than a little naive, younger sister Charlie. His childhood was spent seeking out adventures and protecting Charlie from anyone who tried to mess with her. He held her hand through the frightening events of Hurricane Katrina and let her cry on his shoulder when her best friend moved away. His family and his community are super important to him, so he knows he'll probably never leave New Orleans for good, but that hasn't stopped him from traveling when he can, to get a taste of what some of the world has to offer. After high school, he took a year off and traveled around the country in a van with a couple of friends. They alternated volunteering with vacationing, and Dylan is so grateful for the experience. He also spent a semester of college in Hawaii, which is probably his favorite place in the world other than home. After graduation, he started working for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. It's not a glamorous job, and dealing with all the bureaucracy can be maddening, but he's really passionate about the environment, especially clean water. When he's not working, he's checking in on his little sister and trying new and exciting things, especially ones that scare him.

Dylan is currently unaware.
